When you receive your FlatPanel Demo System, the LEA amplifier comes preconfigured with Channels 1 and 2 set for DML500 Left and DML500 Right, and Channel 3 is set for an LS212 subwoofer.
Out of the box, the amplifier should work well with the default settings - however depending on the room and personal taste, you may need to adjust the level of the subwoofer up or down. This is a simple process, that is completed by logging into the LEA Amplifier, which can be done via computer or phone/tablet.
NOTE: If using a tablet or phone, please be cautious - the adjustment of levels may be sensitive with fingertip tap control, and please be very careful not to "drag" a finger across the device, as this may unintentionally change another setting.
Please connect to your LEA Amplifier. LEA has provided a simple video (shown below) that covers how to connect to the amplifier (We recommend WiFi for simplicity, but either of the other methods will work as well:)
Once connected, enter the ip address (from the front panel screen of the amplifier) into your browser. You should then see a page like this:
Click on the "I" info bubble next to the amplifier name.
You should now see this:
Select the "Channels" tab, circled in red above. Note that "Channels" may appear in a different place in your list than in the above image.
You should now see something similar to this:
Channel 1 and 2 are displayed above. In most Demo systems, the subwoofer is on Channel 3 - so we need to navigate to the bottom of the screen, and tell the page to display channels 3 & 4 by clicking the "3" below:
You should now see something similar to this:
The red arrow above indicates the current level setting for the subwoofer. If you need the subwoofer louder, click the up arrow a few times until you have the level you prefer.
If you end up at zero (max input gain) on the subwoofer, then please navigate back to channels 1 and 2 and turn DOWN the input gain for Channel 1 and Channel 2 - this will effectively make the subwoofer louder in relation to the DML panels
