For the FlatPanel LS212 Dual-Bandpass Dual-12" Subwoofer, , the LEA Speaker Tuning file can be downloaded below.
LS212 Subwoofer DSP Settings for LEA Amplifiers
Note: LEA Speaker Tunings files are in Text format - to prevent many browsers from opening up the file and displaying the contents (and making it difficult to download) the above file is in a .ZIP format.
Settings can also be obtained directly from LEA's "Speaker Tunings" library here.
Below is a brief video from LEA describing how to upload the Speaker Tunings file to the amplifier:
If you are using an amplifier from a brand other than LEA, the data appears below that you will need to use to manually configure your amplifier or DSP.
NOTE: If you prefer to equalize either by ear, or using tools such as Smart Live or EaseRA, please feel free to start with no EQ filters, and simply cut and boost based on your measurements and preference. However it is recommended, especially if using a high-power amplifier, that this subwoofer be configured with both a "high-pass" filter and a "low-pass" filter (see values below.) The high-pass filter is important to prevent sending content to the subwoofer that it can not create, and would otherwise only create heat. Otherwise feel free to start with our standard EQ filter settings below - we find that these settings work really well in most rooms.
Don't forget limiter settings!
Limiter setting details appear below the EQ and Crossover section below.
