For the FlatPanel DML500 and DML500A, the LEA Speaker Tuning file can be downloaded below.
DML500/500A DSP Settings for LEA Amplifiers
Settings can also be obtained directly from LEA's "Speaker Tunings" library here.
Below is a brief video from LEA describing how to upload the Speaker Tunings file to the amplifier:
If you are using an amplifier from a brand other than LEA, the data appears below that you will need to use to manually configure your amplifier or DSP.
NOTE: If you prefer to equalize either by ear, or using tools such as Smart Live or EaseRA, please feel free to start with no EQ filters, and simply cut and boost based on your measurements and preference. However you MUST first set a high pass filter - minimum setting is 85Hz, the common range is 85hz - 110hz, depending on your taste. Otherwise feel free to start with our standard EQ filter settings below - we find that these settings work really well in most rooms.
Don't forget limiter settings!
Limiter setting details appear below EQ and Crossover details.
Please note: the DML can easily reach it's maximum mechanical limits if it is forced to produce sound below 85hz while being driven with significant volume. Extended operation in full range at high power can cause damage to the DML module. If your DML starts to "rattle" loudly - please discontinue your content and double-check that your high-pass filter is enabled.
